点评：I decided to splurge on the guided tour—and I’m so glad I did. Our guide turned out to be Nathan Maxwell of Flogging Molly, and he was fantastic. More storyteller than tour guide, Nathan brought the museum to life with humor, insight, and genuine passion. The 90 minutes flew by.
After the tour, he stuck around to chat and take photos, which made the experience even more memorable.
I brought my 88-year-old father along, and he loved it just as much as I did. The museum is thoughtfully laid out—not too big, not too crowded, and easy to explore at your own pace.
The vibe is authentic and immersive. If you came of age in the late ’70s or early ’80s, the on-site bar will hit you with a wave of nostalgia—it’s like stepping into your favorite old dive.
The photography throughout the museum is stunning, and the overall curation feels spot-on. Rather than focusing on who’s not included, it’s clear this place is only going to grow and evolve.
I’ll definitely be back. They really got this one right.
