A fabulous Easyrider experience with Dung and the Majestic team.

点评：My wife and I had a fabulous three day tour with Majestic Tour & Travel - the scenery on the Loop was spectacular and the ride was magnificent.
Our group was amazing - both the Easyriders and the other travelers. The Majestic team were lots of fun, were all skilled riders, and were all super nice.
My Easyrider, Dung (pronounced "Zoong"), was very personable, and was incredibly conscientious and attentive while negotiating the road's varying terrain. It's obvious that he's very skilled and comfortable riding the Loop. I felt very safe and was able to take in all the views while he did all of the difficult stuff. I would definitely recommend Dung to anyone who is interested in having a memorable trip.
The accommodations and meals were exceptional. Sure, hostels may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I had an amazing night's sleep at the Pura Homestay; so quiet, dark, and comfy! All of the meals were plentiful and delicious. So good!
There were plenty of stops along the route, too. Small village experiences and mountain outposts were aplenty. There's so much to take in. The views are sublime. It's awe inspiring. My only suggestion for these stops, however, would be a change in music - if anything, I would hope for traditional Vietnamese or something more reflective of the surroundings. The party music didn't seem to fit the experience or surroundings. That said, some of the karaoke was pretty solid.
The only negatives we experienced were the getting to and from Ha Giang. The overnight bus to and from Ha Giang, and the first night's hostel stay, were incredibly disorganized and lacking effective/helpful communication:
1. We had to be shuttled by three transfer vans in order to get the bus going to Ha Giang;
2. We arrived way later than originally expressed (3:30 am instead of 1:30 am) to a dark hostel and had to wake the attendant to check in, turn on the lights and show us to the dorm room;
3. The return bus to Hanoi was also way later than originally expressed (arrived in Hanoi after 3 am instead of around 11:30 pm);
4. Once back in Hanoi, we were immediately overwhelmed/swarmed by taxi guys while getting off the bus, presenting themselves as part of the tour - incredibly persistent and in our personal space. Not cool.
Nevertheless, Dung and the Majestic lads helped us have a fabulous trip around the Loop. That's the important thing. We wish them all the best.
