Valley of the Butterflies的点评
点评：The Valley of Butterflies, known in Greek as Petaloudes, it's a natural reserve located in the northern part of the island. As idyllic as its name suggests, it has remained one of the island’s most renowned attractions for decades.
Lots of wooden bridges, paths, cobblestone, ponds, and mini cascading waterfalls. 2 parts. Upper and lower valley.
The peaceful atmosphere makes it an ideal retreat for nature lovers, while the unique ecosystem offers an extraordinary experience that feels far removed from the everyday world.
It is a very steep climb up, so I recommend doing it slowly. We went too fast.
You only need 2 hours here.
There are thousands of butterflies but they were all one type (red), which was a shame. I expected different species.
It was 6 euros to get in and kids were free (under 12).
You definitely need trainers and a water bottle.
In my opion the cobblestone pebble paths are very dangerous.
We used prestige tours, who collected and dropped us off from our hotel.
