点评:We walked to it from our hotel in Plaza Catalunya, a total distance of 5 miles, approx, not difficult for two 70-year-old hikers. We took Pg de Gracia first, viewing 3 Antoni Gaudí's casa's on the way. Then we took a detour to Sangrada Familia, stopping at an eatery for a few Chinese dim sum items (very pricey), then to Parc Gruell. Unfortunately, the park and the guided tours only sold tickets online and the only tickets left were for 4:55 pm. Unwilling to wait for 90 minutes, we decided to bypass it and go to Turo De La Rovira. It was a 20 minutes' sweaty uphill walk in 80-degree weather. But the streets were clean and uncrowded (totally different from those in the city), and the view on the top was rewarding.
When we were walking down, my google Pixel 7 ran out of battery (after I took too many pictures), and the offline map on my backup phone mysteriously lost all street names. Luckily, we ran into a nice bus stop near Park Gruell, and took a number 24 bus back to Plaza Catalunya.)
In a town like Barcelona, this probably is one of the very few free things you can do, and it definitely is a highlight.
