Poor value for money

点评：Very disappointed. We had a first-floor room facing the church. The church bell rang every half hour from about 6 a.m. to about 10 p.m. As it was extremely hot we opened all windows, but we were then in full view of anyone walking around the church. There was no air-conditioning and no ventilator or fan, even though we asked for a fan. The TV was the worst I had seen in many years. Reception, colour: terrible. No CNN or BBC. The remote had no "menu" to change anything. The mini bar was empty and the little fridge had no shelf. The room didn't even have one bottle of water, no coffee maker or water heater. The carpet was dirty. The room had no information, paper or pen. Just one bible. No telephone. The receptionists couldn't answer any questions as they simply said they were not from the area. There is a free parking lot. The breakfast was OK and included in our €189/night. Considering what one reads about this hotel in the local newspapers online it is no wonder that this hotel is at the moment poor value for money. I can not recommend staying here until there is new management or ownership.
