Art for Guernsey的点评
点评：As a course leader in Art and Design and someone who loves visiting exhibitions, I was really looking forward to this show by Art for Guernsey and it did not disappoint.
From the moment you walk in, it is a pleasure to be there. The exhibition feels very welcoming and easy to spend time in, which really adds to the experience. The gallery itself is set in such a historic part of Guernsey, and being there gives you a real sense of island life as well as the art.
The layout works beautifully and allows you to properly take in each piece. The work by David, Jock and the team is magnificent. The images around the theme of changing faces are powerful and genuinely thought provoking, and you can see the care and consideration behind it all. This exhibition is open to all ages and after visiting, my 9 year old had lots of questions and made him want to go home and draw!
The artists involved have created something very special, and the work of Paul Chambers in particular made it a really moving exhibition for me.
Definitely worth a visit if you are in Guernsey.
