"I attended a convention here and was shocked by the lack of site safety. I found construction fences intentionally disabled (laid flat on the ground) and zero signage or lighting on the path from the hot tubs. When I questioned this, Pool Manager Michael Scott was condescending, asking 'Can't you read the sign?' before ADMITTING he personally took the fence down due to wind.
As a specialist in Industrial Control Integration, I reported this 'trap' and the manager's admission to GM Steve Luebeck. He was dismissive and uninterested in the liability. I have since emailed their corporate owners (Aldesta Group) and have been ignored for over two weeks. If they ignore a professional's safety report, they will ignore yours. Extremely disappointing management for a beautiful location.
