点评：In the Monopoly (Barcelona edition) boardgame, Passeig de Gracia is the "Mayfair" equivalent. That pretty much sums up what you can expect from Barcelona's most expensive street, which is lined with high-end shops, chic restaurants and of course, some of Gaudi's masterpieces. Cutting across the Eixample district from Placa Catalunya to Carrer Gran de Gracia, this busy boulevard with wide pedestrian sidewalks on both sides, is undoubtedly the city's most fashionable street in every sense of the word. The designer stores from all the luxury brands that you could think of, occupying the charming Art Nouveau buildings, certainly adds to the air of fashionable opulence. But beyond that, this major thoroughfare is propped up with beautiful details, from the sumptuously adorned street lamps to the Gaudi-designed snowflake-shaped pavement tiles and ornately carved benches. This is the perfect example of how urban streets should be designed! Definitely leaves you a better feeling of wanting to return to Barcelona as compared to Las Ramblas.
