点评：A Feast for the Eyes and the Pocketbook! The Passeig de Gracia is not only a classy, wide shopping street with upscale stores like you would find on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills or Fifth Avenue in New York City, but it also has the unique feature of some Gaudi architecture. The street contains Casa Batllo, and right around the corner you can also view Casa Mira/ La Pedreda. So, if luxury-brand shopping is your thing, you are definitely in luck. The stores go for blocks and blocks. And there are some very affordable shopping options here, too, such as an Uno De 50 jewelry store. If architecture is your thing, you will really enjoy the beautiful, well-maintained, austere old buildings. This writer had the great good fortune of visiting Barcelona in December, and the holiday lights at night were magical (see photo). I am so glad we went here.
