Great Stop on the Way to Mexico
Estero Llano Grande State Park的点评
点评：One of our favorite Texas State Parks. They offer birding tour walks. This experience definitley highlights the areas natural resources. It also grows your knowledge of the birds that call this place home. Our guide was kind and informative. We definitley recommend taking one of these guided tours.
We returned to this park a few additional times to hike the trails. It was a great morning stop for a walk prior to crossing the Mexican border at Nuevo Progresso.
Our highlighted bird from our trips here was the Roseate Spoonbill. Of course you can see Green Jays and many water fawl. The office is located right on a pond that was always full of water fowl. You do not need to walk far to experience the diversity of the bird life held in these acres.
WE will surely return to this property to see what additional birds we can find.
