Overrun with people - sadly, not what it used to be

点评：This was a really great place a few years ago. Unfortunately, it’s now overrun with people. There are so many people on the trails that you are either stepping aside for them to pass, or trying to work your way past a group. A lot of the people on the trails also don’t think it’s a problem to have their music blaring as they’re hiking or making so much noise that you’re not going to be able to enjoy yourself or see any birds or small animals.
There doesn’t appear to be any crowd control and this seems to have started about when the Dallas chapter of the Audubon society took over the management. Sadly, I would’ve expected better from a group associated with the Audubon society
I’ve decided to hike in other places around the area as there are plenty of them that are still accessible to those of us that really want to enjoy nature in a peaceful environment. I’ve also decided that I’m not going to name or review any of them in the hopes that they continue to be enjoyable, and do not become overrun like this location has.
