点评：Alpaca Expeditions is a wonderful company to book your Peru adventures with. My friend and I booked a day trip to Rainbow mountain, and a 7 day backpacking adventure through the Andes across Salkantay to the Inca Trail.
For Rainbow mountain, our guide, Even, was very knowledgeable of the Inca history and Mountain history and he was very kind. The breakfast and lunch that was served was also delicious. It was my friends birthday and they baked her a cake and sang happy birthday to her!
For the 7 day trek, our guide, Americo, was phenomenal. He has a clear passion to share the knowledge of the Inca history. He is very kind and knowledgeable. He gave great detail at several of the Inca structures we passed. The Salkantay pass was strenuous but well worth the hike. We had the whole mountain to ourselves, it was so peaceful, we even caught sight of two Andean Bears! The Inca trail to Machu Picchu was busier with tourists (as expected) but extraordinary as well. Our porters and chef were rock stars as well. They took great care of our belongings while hiking and the breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea time, and snacks kept us well nourished while also experiencing Peruvian cuisine. They also baked my friend a birthday cake to celebrate her birthday!!
10/10 would recommend this company to any avid hikers!
