点评：A watersports hire company that won't hire oars?!
My husband and I came to Bala Lake for the day, our own boards and jackets. Set up and realised we didn't have one of our oars so went to ask to hire one.
No.
In case I lost it. But she could hire any equipment I needed. I said again we had boards, pfds, even the pump but just somehow an oar hadn't been packed and obviously without it, we would have to go home.
No. Their oars came from France and were very specialised and they couldnt risk one being lost.
I asked what the difference was between me hiring a whole set of equipment and just an oar and she just barked "IT IS NON NEGOTIABLE!" at me.
So a local shop benefitted from the £32.99 buying a new oar cost me so we could carry on our day as we had already paid parking and permits. But we will never spend a single penny at Bala Watersports or encourage anyone else to. Vile woman.
