Broom Boats的点评
点评：After several years visiting the northern broads in different boats from several major boatyards, we decided to ‘go south’ and spend a week on the southern broads for a change. From start to finish it was the best holiday & boatyard experience ever. We hired a boat (Captain type) from Broom Boats and from start to finish it was smooth sailing. The service was personal and friendly. The boatyard is medium sized with a great fleet of modern boats but small enough that it retains a very personal touch (unlike some others on the northern broads where you can feel lost in the bedlam). One of our ‘high stress’ points on any boat trip is returning the boat to the yard at the end of the week and desperately trying to find a space to moor up… not so at Broom. We arrived back to our friendly host on the pontoon waiting to guide us in to the easiest mooring and do all the ropes for us. They were even chatting to us about the holiday as we were coming in! Never had service anywhere like this on the broads and the boat was beautiful, modern and well kept - we will definitely return. As an aside, in contrast to the more commercial northern broads, the southern broads are beautiful, peaceful and tranquil with wide open rivers. Lots more wildlife to see - even from the boat (several owls, otters, kingfishers, water deer etc). Lots of walks along the river banks. Stress free moorings in beautiful locations and rarely see another boat. Another special mention for Reedham Quay Moorings staff who helped us moor up on several occasions and gave plenty of advice on the best spots to stay and eat! Thank you Broom, we’re already planning our next trip.
