A real honest review of my personal experience

点评：I was hesitant about leaving a negative review as I am a business person myself however I decided to share my experience so that others will be safe.
I visited Poin Panama in January for my birthday as a solo trip. I participated in the rock climbing activity which went terribly wrong.
As an inexperienced climber I relied heavily on the guidance of the activity facilitator. When I had finally made it to the top my guide told me to hold on and he would lower me. However I slipped it resulted in my hands getting rope burn.
My take away points from this experience are as follows:
•There was a huge language barrier between myself and the staff who bearly understood what I was saying or how to help me
•There was hardly any medical equipment or professionally trained personnel on site to render aid should a more serious incident occurred.
•There was no follow up care or phone call after being injured once I left.
•there was not sufficient protective gear in that activity because no gloves were provided.
After leaving I had a five hour flight back home with documents to sign and bags to hold with bandages on both hands and i was traveling alone. I would definitely warn persons against visiting here due to the high risk of activities.
