Flies vs customer at Costa

点评：During a recent visit to Costa, I was disappointed to see flies all over the cakes on display. Concerned about hygiene, I asked the staff if there were any other cakes available that hadn't been exposed to the flies. Unfortunately, the response I received was a simple "no."
When I suggested that they take steps to keep the flies out of the display case, the staff member informed me that the case was kept closed to prevent flies from getting in, but she couldn't address the issue at the moment because there was a queue of customers. She implied that serving customers was more important than addressing the hygiene problem.
I strongly disagree with this approach. Food hygiene should be a top priority because, without it, there won't be any customers in the first place. Needless to say, I chose not to purchase anything and went to another coffee shop for my croissant instead.
