点评:Heard about this place from the hotel we were staying at - made an appointment for 2 pm and were told to go hungry. This is a quaint little family run business and Martina met us Daughter of the owner) to show us around. Martina won the woman’s award for running this place with the help of her father - mother & grandfather- She was born in the house and has a lot of history here. There are also olives trees here and 700 planted Offsite as well. The grape vines are 20 and 15 year old and are prized by the family.
They use only organic matter in every other row - barely, vetch, wild organic matter to fertilize the vines. We had a tour and then proceeded to the restaurant for wine tasting of 3 different types of wine paired with the food. The White wine - Fermented with orange peels was quite unique.
The mother makes the Fig Jam from 2 trees on the property which were paired with the wine.
The 2nd red wine is made from only one grape 13% alcohol - paired with meat
The 3rd red wine is a Shiraz and merlot blend. Aged 1 year
