点评:Arrived at 12:15p.m. yesterday, purchased a four hour lift ticket and rented equipment. After one trip on the main lift, we were told the lift was closed for maintanence and that it would be open in five or ten minutes. Over the next two hours, they told guests the lift would open "momentarily". After drilling office staff, we were advised an outside mechanic was being called in to work on it. When we and other patrons requested rental and lift refunds, we were told only vouchers would be issued. Many patrons, besides ourselves were displeased, not having the opportunity to return to West on a future day. Meantime, West ran the main lift "manually" to accomodate a ski team while ordinary patrons were left in limbo.
At 3:30 pm, the lift was still not open for patrons and West finally agreed to issue refunds to some patrons that were still waiting. Others that did not hang around so long, were not so lucky and were given vouchers, if that.
This is a lovely little mountain in a great location and it is unfortunate that there is not better management and better treatment of guests.
