Two jaguars, twelve sloths and a tapir

点评：I gave it two stars because there are only 12 sloths, 1 tapir and two jaguars. That’s all. You pay 38 dollars and you get a guide who will tell you about the animals. That would be ok, per se, but the guide who was speaking in English was very young and not very professional. He said there are White Faced monkeys around in the forest. I asked Capuchins? He said No. He insisted white faced monkeys. I asked Squirrel monkeys? He said he has never heard of squirrel monkeys. (These are one of four that live in Costa Rica) what really ticked me off was that he kind of rolled his eyes while I was trying to figure out what kind of monkeys he mentioned, and he smiled and looked at the others, kind of implying that I was …too much..
Other than that, it was kind of rushed, we got to see the tapir run twice around the yard and the great thing was that the jaguars came to the fence and we could see them properly. But, I don’t know, his attitude was off.
The tour lasted about 50 minutes. About 30 of those were around the sloths, but on the side where we couldn’t see them well. Another group spent a lot of time on the other side wheee they were up close. When it was our turn to go there, we had only 5 minutes, to see them, take some photos.
It was worth it for the jaguars, but the service, I did not enjoy.
