Extremely well curated, focus on species of practical use to native Hawaiian culture

点评：So I will start by saying my wife is really into botany, but it isn't really my thing normally. I'm happy to look at the odd interesting plant, but if there is something I'm curious about I usually just ask her, and tend not to learn much of it myself. This is a somewhat unconventional garden, with a strong focus on how various plants were practically used by native Hawaiians. They have an app, as well as QR codes on each plant you can use to look up the details. Each plant includes whether the plant is endemic, a polynesian import or newer, and whether they exist outside of Hawaii. Then each has a detailed section on how the plant was put to practical use. The effort they put into curating all of this information and making it easily available is tremendous. While this isn't an all day thing, I enjoyed it a lot more than I was expecting to.
