点评：We booked our K’gari (Fraser Island) experience through Fraser-Tours.com and had a very disappointing experience regarding the security deposit.
We were required to pay a $5,000 AUD security bond for the 4WD. The vehicle was returned without any damage or problems, so we expected the full bond to be refunded.
However, $328 AUD was missing from the refund.
When we contacted them about this, we were told that the missing $328 was a bank fee. This means that approximately 6.56% of our $5,000 bond was taken as a fee.
We were not informed beforehand that such a large fee could be deducted from our security deposit. We understand that international bank fees can sometimes occur, but $328 AUD is an extremely high amount, and we do not think customers should be surprised by a fee of this size after returning the vehicle without any damage.
The K’gari experience itself was great, but the way the security deposit and refund were handled was very disappointing.
If you are booking through Fraser-Tours.com, make sure you ask in advance exactly what fees can be deducted from your security deposit and who is responsible for those fees.
