Great outfitting, fabulous guide

点评：We are a group of 5 friends (men and women) who are all about 65-ish. We went on a guided, three day, two night trip to the area around lake Isabella. Piragis was great from start to finish. They identified an appropriate trip for us and provided no-stress outfitting services, including good food that accommodated a variety of dietary issues. They were also great answering multiple calls from slightly nervous newbies.
Our guide, James, was amazing. He provided the perfect combination of taking care of us, providing confidence, pointing out our strengths, and pushing us the exact amount we each wanted to be pushed. He was patient, calm, knowledgeable, and personable. He had wisdom is beyond his years. James is passionate about the beauty and uniqueness of the boundary waters and shared that passion with us. We would give him more than 5 stars if possible.
