It felt good early on but then came the "shake down"

点评：I was expecting a bit more out of the property (even after reading all the reviews). No doubt the entrance is designed to deliver the early "knock out punch". And it does!
But, once we checked in we found our "deluxe king" room looked directly onto the roof top AC units and the flat tar roof. Immediately went to the front desk (we checked in very early) and requested a change. They informed we should have ordered premium if we wanted a view. I guess I get that but perhaps they should have told us the view we were getting was of the roof.
We went back to the room only to find 2 of the 3 bulbs in the bathroom were burnt out. Repeated calls finally got the problem resolved.
While the food was good there really is no fine dinning that I could find. Suppose you want a nice piece of salmon or trout for lunch ...... no go.
While much money was spent updating the rooms soft goods (their very nice) couldn't they have spent a few bucks on the gym? Fitness centers have become a big draw in the recreation community yet this gym feels (and smells) like a throwback to the 70's.
BTW - The golf courses are great, after noon tea and cookies are a nice touch BUT $35.00 a day to park your car in an open lot just a few steps away is ROBBERY. There is no self parking so it feels like a "shake down"
