Exceeded Our Expectations!
Pilanesberg National Park的点评
点评：After reading rather mixed reviews we weren't sure how good this park would be. I have to say we were pleasantly surprised.
We found it to be really beautiful, with lots of different animals to see.
We stayed at Tambuti Lodge in the Black Rhino part of the reserve, it is a first rate lodge that we can highly recommend. Perhaps that helped to raise our opinion of Pilanesberg as we had a fantastic guide who ensured that we got to see as many animals as possible.
We did get to see the Big Five, although we only got to see the lions from some distance away, but we did get fabulous sightings of cheetah & a beautiful leopard.
I see that people have complained about toilet facilities, I think they are perfectly adequate when you consider where they are. They all had toilet rolls & running water for hand washing. I have experienced worse in towns & cities.
The other gripe is about the conditions of the roads, yes there are a lot of potholes in places, but many roads/tracks are fine.
So to sum up, beautiful scenery, an abundance of wildlife & acceptable toilet facilities at stopping points.
We absolutely loved this park & hope to visit again.
