点评:My wife and I stumbled upon this gem on the way to another museum. It is an amazing museum describing the immigration, handling and lives of convicts brought here in the 1800's. Every visitor gets an audio device and stereo headphones. As you walk through the museum audio automatically starts with dictation, "first person" accounts, etc. What I found most amazing is the quality of the audio...there are background noises, voices, etc. that add to the realism. When we were in the "bunk room" and the narrator was talking I heard a bunch of coughing and thought it was one of the people in the museum...no, this was part of the sounds of the room as it may have been when convicts lived there. This high quality audio goes on through the museum. The models and diarama's used to describe and demonstrate events are over-the-top. There are a number of artifacts as well. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in the convict history of New South Wales.
