点评:We stayed at he Courtyard Marriott at Easton Town Center and our vehicle was vandalized and had window broken along with other vehicles at 10:15 p.m. on a Monday night with temperatures in the teens. The hotel security guard did not start shift until 10:30 p.m. and even though security cameras captured the vandals, we were not notified until the following morning when the Assistant Manager came to work and called us. The hotel did not contact the police but offered us the phone number and said it was a frequent occurrence but they couldn’t do anything about the frequent vandalism and did not have ability to increase security. There was no responsibility despite negligent behavior. Hotel offered free breakfast and hotel points and name of glass repair company. There was no coordination with Easton Security and no reports or further investigation by the hotel. The Columbus police responded and took a report from us. The police officer confirmed the hotel was responsible and should offer more security and warnings to the guests. We will not be returning to Easton to shop, dine or stay. It’s a shame Easton, the Marriott and Columbus are not doing more to crack down on crime in this area. I will be sharing my experience with others and are seeing numerous incidents of the same crimes in the Easton area. On average these crimes are happening numerous times per week.
