Dreadful service - we were completely ignored .

点评：I found this place by accident a few years ago and absolutely loved it. So on a recent trip to Mid Wales , feeling hungry , I told my son we would detour out of our way especially to have lunch there as it had special memories for me.
Well, the layout of the place has changed ( previously the cafe was set within a different barn and incorporated with a small art gallery) but that wasn’t a problem .
We ordered our lunch - the lady serving seemed slightly harassed even though it was only relatively busy.
My hot chocolate was served - a very , powedery hot chocolate of very poor quality
Giving allowances , we waited and waited and after 45 minutes I went back in to enquire about our food, and saw the staff chatting with nothing to do.
In short , they had completely forgotten about our order even though they’d walked past us about 10 times serving others and must have seen us sitting there with nothing .
By then we had to leave , I wasn’t charged for the hot chocolate.
Needless to say we were left very hungry , had lost an hour on our journey and had to get a stale sandwich in a petrol station instead .
They say you should never return to a place that once seemed magical - this ruined my memory of the place and we won’t be back.
