拉纳赫花园古堡的点评
点评：Lovely gardens and a beautiful castle, however the food was not good.
Both my sister and I are Celiac and upon ordering Eggs Benedict for brunch my sister spent the late afternoon being very sick and was unwell for the following 2 weeks.
I was told on the phone that the head chef Hamish is also Celiac so this was a relief....but nooooo something went seriously wrong.
I was not sick but suffered a headache and squirmy stomach for 5 days following.
I rung the staff and so did my sister with the promise that someone would be in touch ...well 3 weeks later nobody has called.
Not good enough, not at all. Also , the female chef popped outside into the court yard where folk were eating and stubbed out her cigarette!!! Now I've been a chef for most of my life and that is a big NO NO , not a good look folks.
However, the lovely young man at the cafe counter was a star and oh so friendly and funny, so thanks to him.
The Castle is simply amazing and well worth the beautiful drive to go visit.
This review is to let folk whom have extreme food allergies to be aware and ask questions if you choose to eat at the cafe......we don't want this to happen to any one else as it ruined the afternoon that we had with our Mum.
