Lovely peaceful beach
Fraisthorpe Beach的点评
点评：This beach is far less busy than the main one in Bridlington, which is great for people who want a quieter or less chaotic trip. You’ll probably see a lot of dog walkers or those doing water sports like surfing/kayaking, but fewer families or children compared to others in the area. This does not mean it’s not good for families!
Very wide stretch of sandy beach so you’ll have plenty of space if you’re wanting to set up towels/chairs, but please check tide times as the tide does come in quite far. There’s also a lot of history on this beach with the WWII pill boxes and large rocks to deter tanks. Really fascinating - and you can go right up to them.
There’s a car park less than a minute away from the beach, just up on a short cliff. They charge £6 for a full day so really super cheap. There’s also toilets and changing rooms, as well as a dog washing station for any wet pups!
We didn’t go into the Cow Shed, which is the cafe just next to the car park, but I’ve heard great things about the food - so that’s a place to consider if you’re wanting to spend the day at Fraisthorpe. If not, the main part of Bridlington is only a short drive away.
All in all, me and my friends really loved this beach and were definitely planning to return.
