Awful spa package experience
The Spa at Billesley Manor Hotel的点评
点评：Don’t normally write a review of a bad experience but was so disappointed in this spa treat that felt I had to so no one else has to waste their time and money!
Was supposed to be me and my partner having a spa morning treat with massage and afternoon tea. He had to deal with business and I was happy to stay and have some me time.
Arrived at 9am, towels all on tables still in set up mode. Was left sitting down for half an hr before being given a robe and a towel (no slippers), no offer of refreshment or even a glass of water.
Was directed to changing room and told to come back out to reception a little earlier than 10am ready for massage.
In spa area…beds were filthy and water stained.
I came back out at 9.55am and was left until 10.05 before someone came up and asked what I was here for. She then went off and a therapist 5mins later than that came to get me. By the time I was on the bed it was 10.20am said massage was 25 mins long (not long enough to even start to relax) but this included when you walked in to the room and undressed. Therapist didn’t come back in the room for a further 5mins. I was undressed and on the bed in 2mins. I had in total an 18min massage and where as the therapist was good in the time she had, this to me did not feel like a spa morning with a massage?!
I was then ushered out of the room straight into the changing room again and back in to the spa area without being offered any water again.
I was so thirsty so went to water machine by pool but no cups?!
Went into steam room - no steam???!
I’d had enough and wanted to go home. I went to get changed.
Still thirsty I went to the hotel and explained that I would be leaving early but was booked to have a cream tea as part of the treat. Said they won’t do anymore food now until 1pm so said to forget the cream tea but could I just get a drink. Was told they’re not really serving as part of the package until 1pm but if I go to the bar they MIGHT let me have a herbal tea there abs sit in the bar area as they were having building works done there. Walked to bar. I did get a tea while I enjoyed the sound of super loud drilling from the hallway from the builders of which I hit with the door as I walked through as there were no signs they were working right behind the door and to use an alternative entrance.
Seriously. Awful. Won’t return there for anything again.

然后我被领出房间，直接进入更衣室，然后回到水疗区，没有人再给我水。
我太渴了，所以去了泳池边的饮水机，但没有杯子？！
去了蒸汽房——没有蒸汽？？！
我受够了，想回家。我去换衣服了。
还是很口渴，我去了酒店，解释说我要早点离开，但预订了奶茶作为款待的一部分。他们说现在到下午 1 点之前都不会再提供食物，所以我就说别想喝奶茶了，可以喝点饮料吗？他们说他们直到下午 1 点才真正提供套餐服务，但如果我去酒吧，他们可能会让我在酒吧区喝一杯花草茶，因为他们正在那里进行建筑工程。见照片。
走到酒吧。我喝了茶，同时享受着走廊里建筑工人发出的超大钻孔声，我走过时用门撞到了它，因为没有迹象表明他们就在门后工作，所以我要使用另一个入口。
说真的。太糟糕了。再也不会去那里了。
