海上巴士的点评
点评：My family and I rode the TransLink SeaBus, the passenger ferry, as part of our commute to and from Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge in North Vancouver. It's supposed to be a 2-zone fare (CAD 4.85) on a weekday but we decided to buy an Adult DayPass (CAD 11.95) from a Compass Vending Machine at Waterfront Station for unlimited same-day transit use instead.
Impossible to get lost—there are direction signs at the terminal so even first-time ferry passengers, aka tourists, can easily locate the SeaBus loading area. Once the ferry arrived and is ready to load passengers, several doors open at the same time, much like the subway, except here you're riding a boat.
We hopped on the 8AM Thursday ferry and most of the passengers appeared to be locals on their daily morning commute. We sat at the front, facing the ferry interior but had a clear view of the stunning scenery by looking out the window behind us. I couldn't hide the fact that we were tourists because I was excitedly taking photos with my smartphone. I couldn't help it, the scenic ferry ride was a treat! We enjoyed the one-way ferry ride but it ended way too soon (12 mins).
We rode the return ferry around mid-afternoon and had a similar pleasant ride. Ferry boat interior was clean and spacious. It was not crowded and we had our pick of seats.
The "Next SeaBus" digital countdown timer—one at the ferry terminal fare gates and another near the turnstiles at the passenger loading area—is a practical visual tool. Takes the guesswork out on whether to hurry up to catch the departing ferry or take one's sweet time for the next one.
Things to remember: Must tap in before boarding and tap out upon arrival. No washrooms on board the ferry.

“下一班海上巴士”的数字倒计时——一个在渡轮码头的检票口，另一个在乘客登船区的旋转闸门附近——非常实用。它让乘客无需猜测是该赶快去搭乘即将出发的渡轮，还是可以悠闲地等待下一班。
注意事项：登船前必须刷卡，下船时也必须刷卡。渡轮上没有洗手间。
