澳洲战争纪念馆的点评
点评：I really enjoyed the history and artefacts featured here and the commitment to telling these stories. However, sometimes I felt confused about what I was seeing on display from a lack of context or even just proper labeling.
Where a cabinet might be showing several items with several placards of information, often times the place cards weren't near the specific object. Sometimes it would completely omit what the item we were looking at even WAS and how it was relevant to the display.
I found it very dark, and yet the overhead lighting bouncing off the glass too easily, which made it a struggle to see and read.
I also struggled with even figuring out where to go on each level. A lot of bemused patrons were milling around, and staff were basically doing the same and not offering much help or guidance to anyone, at all.
I was disappointed in what should have been a very poignant setting.
