A Brilliant Hotel in the La Fortuna Area

点评：This hotel has some of the best and most welcoming staff I have ever encountered. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile.
We stayed for three nights and explored the Arenal area which was truly spectacular. And after each tour or activity we returned to the sanctuary of our room at the hotel. The rooms are large and well appointed and have clean and spacious bathrooms (with a comfortable bath)!
The food in the restaurant was delicious and varied with a really international menu. The wine list is perhaps a little limited but it still had enough wines to choose from. For me the reds were better than the whites - but that is just me.
I guess that the only slight drawback was that the main pool with the swim-up bar (there are 9 pools and jacuzzis) was at times a bit crowded and noisy and we were not there in the high season. I believe that non-residents can buy a day pass which is possibly the challenge. However, you can always use the resident’s only infinity pool at the top.
Overall this is a jewel and is so good because of the wonderful staff - I can unreservedly recommend it.
