Racecourse let down by expensive drinks and served warm.

点评：So many positives to Newbury Racecourse. A brilliant day at the party in the paddock. Well organised and car parking close by. Ticket good price. However,
the day was totally let down by the drink prices and how they were served. £45 for Prosecco tipped into a plastic bottle, no lid or ice bag. It just got flat and hot quickly. I understand the need for plastic bottles but no lid or way to keep it cool on a hot day is not a good experience. We also bought a bottle of white wine which was £35. Again no ice bag and the most disgusting wine ever. Very little choice of wines. So disappointing. I understand prices are going to be more but Newbury are charging more than Ascot and served them in a way that the wine gets hot. What happened to the bags with ice??
Sadly for this reason, I think next year I’ll try a different racecourse.
