点评：We stayed in number 10. I'll start with the negatives. Upon entering the lodge had an unpleasant smell which I suspect could be a ventilation problem in the ensuite. We opened the windows and bought some room air fresheners and after a couple of hours it smelt better. The cleanliness of the lodge could be better. The decking had water beads from old guests and clearly hadn't been swept properly. The outdoor furniture had cobwebs all over it. The hard floors inside the lodge could've been cleaner. A bit picky, but there were little sized hand prints on the tv and the patio doors which I assume was from previous guests. Didn't bother us but another example of the place just needing a bit more care/time spent during cleaning. One of the beds had a broken leg, this bed wasn't being slept in anyway so wasn't much of a problem to us. We had an issue connecting to wifi but this was quickly sorted. Did feel for the clubhouse staff. The reception was always locked up (apart from checking in time) so not only did staff have to serve customers food and drink, but also sort golf bookings and accommodation queries. On to the positives. The rooms are very spacious. Ours had the choice of a bath or shower which was nice. Plenty of clean towels and robes included. The location is fab, nice and peaceful overlooking the golf course. It's about a 40 minute walk into Ingoldmells village on country roads. Hot tub is a nice size. The washing machine came in handy. Full size fridge freezer. We used the driving range a couple of times and had a round of golf. Relaxed dress code so ideal for novices like us! All equipment can be hired. Despite the negatives, we would book again. And bring some cleaning products.
