点评：I’ve been coming to this snooker club for a while, and when it’s running smoothly, it can actually be a really enjoyable place to play. The tables are decent and the atmosphere has the potential to be relaxed and friendly.
However, the experience varies massively depending on who’s there. On the occasions when the owner isn’t present, the environment is much more pleasant — the staff seem more comfortable, the service runs better, and the overall vibe is far more welcoming.
Unfortunately, when the owner is in the club, the atmosphere changes completely. His behaviour comes across as rude and quite obnoxious, and on several visits he has appeared to be drinking while on the premises. What’s most uncomfortable to witness is how he speaks to his staff — it often feels disrespectful and creates an awkward environment for customers.
It’s a shame because the club itself has real potential, and the staff work hard. With more professional and respectful management, this place could be excellent.
