“ Sail Portland”. Others have very similar names . Took a ride with family on a 6 passenger sailboat ( other craft may be available ).
Very qualified and Helpfull skipper and 1st mate.
Casco Bay ( just outside of Portland harbor) is a very protected area to go for a Sail in a small boat , so you don’t get a lot of excessive wave action. And has great scenery and islands and old forts to view.
You need to find your own parking. So I would recommend using one of the few Daily-Rate parking lots along the water
( which are not too bad ). Because the Hourly Rate lots will likely cost more and the city restricts virtually all on-street or meter parking to only one or two hours to force you in to a Paid lot.
Lots off food available within walking distance just past the Cruise terminal at the Ferry Terminal area.
