The most amazing place to visit but get there before all the tours arrive!

点评：We are currently travelling staying in Sydney and explored all sorts of options to get to the Blue Mountains. The tours are expensive and they all seem to stop at Sydney zoo on the way which isn’t something I wanted to do. For that reason we looked in to the option of a train. We caught the train from central station to Katoomba. It took approximately 2 hours but the time soon flew with a good book.
Once there we used the hop on hop off bus to get around and paid for Scenic World. With access to Scenic World you can use the skyway, cableway, railway and walkway. Our favourite was the railway (make sure you go down on that!)
We managed to get an early train and went straight to Scenic World for just before 10am. We did all the rides and then left for other places on the hop on hop off bus. The tours all start turning up from 11am and it’s chaos! The queues were so long as we were leaving so I was really pleased to not be part of those tours. The staff explained during busy times, people can be waiting for one and a half hours for one of the rides!! That is not my idea of fun.
So if you can.. get up early, get there before the crowds, and you will have the best time!!
