Fun but outrageously pricey

点评：The good stuff first. The new owners have improved the food selections. The place is clean. It was a Monday so the ride and food lines were short. The grandkids really liked the rides. The waterpark was especially fun for them.
Now the negatives... The exorbitant prices really put a damper on the experience. Especially bad was the poor value of the food per dollar. I have been visiting this place for 30 years. One of my favorite areas was the arcade (skeeball) near the tornado roller coaster exit. It was always packed but worth the wait and price. I sat in the shade across from the arcade twice on this visit while the grandkids rode the roller coaster. It was at least 15-20 minutes both times. ZERO people used any of the arcade booths during that time. The costs make no sense. $4 to throw one ball at a target is absurd. There were two or three arcade attendants standing around talking together because they had nothing to do. The new owners do not understand the psychology of the arcade. Elsewhere in another smaller arcade area, the kids game of picking a duck out of a bunch floating around in a circle cost $4 as well. Ridiculous. Some rides were down and there was no signage saying when they would be repaired. The underground ride a/c was out.
Bottom line... still a fun place to go, especially with young people, but expect to pay through the nose... Maybe bring a picnic lunch and eat it in the covered pavilion in the parking area.

总之……这里仍然是个好玩的去处。尤其是对年轻人来说挺合适的，但估计要花不少钱……不妨带上野餐食品，然后在停车场的有顶棚的凉亭里享用吧。
