Black Abyss doesn't disappoint with adventure

点评：This tour is not for the weak! It is an adventure! We abseiled, climbed, slid, swam, zipped, walked through water, and had a blast! It is mighty cold in the water, but they provide fleece, wetsuits, socks, and boots to keep in your body heat. They also regularly check up on everyone to make sure that you are moving enough --encouraging exercise and dancing to increase our body heat!!
The tour group was small so that our 2 guides Ollie and Paddy were able to take good care of us.
I was worried about rappelling on my own into the dark abyss, but they trained us well and provided safety guards to make sure we were totally safe.
Thoughout this excursion, I did use muscles that I didn't even know I had--and they ached the next day.
The best part? Floating down the river on the innertube and gazing up at the glow worms that surrounded us on all sides and the ceiling of the cave. It was mesmerizing. To top it off, they asked someone to sing, and what an amazing presentation of beauty it was!! Disney songs were performed like a Broadway performance. She was a guest in our tour group, but should have been paid for that serenade that echoed throughout the cave and gave us beautiful chills.
