点评：Quite a decent place to say. Bunk beds, but comfortable. Large kitchen, which was good for our group size of 20. Two hot tubs, which were very hot, that you had the responsibility for checking chlorine levels before and after use. Given the importance of this, I would have thought staff should be doing checks, not large groups of men and women at stag and hen parties after alcohol.
Farm activities were fun, except going up and down hill constantly. Would it not be possible to do all the activities at the top field first and then those in the lower area after?
The area between the accommodation and activities areas needs a good clean up. Lots of old equipment just dumped/ left to rust and rot. Burger and sausage at the barbecue were good, very tasty and good sides of salad and cheeses.
This trip was booked a year ago but only received request for party to select dishes for 3 course meal 2 days before the event. Return minibus time also brought forward due to other bookings. In the event an 8 seater turned up and had to do 3 trips to get everyone to the brewery tour. This resulted in those on the last trip missing the presentation part of the tour giving the history of the brewery. Return trip also had to be completed in 3 trips. One would expect that if you book a year in advance, a 16 seater and 8 seater buses would have been booked at that time. In the event, although Farm Adventures had the booking a year ago, they only booked the taxi service shortly before the visit when all three of the 16 seater minibuses had been booked for other jobs.
The biggest fault, for me, was a total lack of any of the bedrooms being soundproofed or somewhere in a quiet area. Yes, you expect a stag party to be noisy, but some of us older ones need sleep and on the first night it was impossible. Wouldn't go again.
