点评：Charlotte, the brilliant and charming tour guide and owner of Hidden Anglesey Tours, made that day at Anglesey a highlight of our two-week stay in Wales and Scotland. She was so entertaining and knowledgeable, but also knew how to work with a large group to meet our needs and optimize our time. She's also a terrific driver with just about the most comfortable minibus or van (seats about a dozen or so) you'll find. You can also enhance your vocabulary by asking her about great UK terms like "jiggery-pokery," now a favorite of mine,
Her knowledge of fascinating and beautiful sites and of Wales in general is a big plus. But her personality also adds a lot of fun to the event. Very thoughtful, kind, and entertaining, yet a real professional with great expertise.
Oh, and the sites we saw were also terrific. Ancient Celtic tombs, a beautiful seaside view with a great place for lunch, South Stack Lighthouse, the town with the longest name in the world, and the lighthouse at Melin Llynnon. One thing I liked about that last place is there is a gift shop where you can buy a product made in Anglesey, Mr. Holt's Chocolate -- really delicious -- from the gift shop's owner (perhaps also the owner of the lighthouse?) who turns out to be the mother of Mr. Holt. A great gift!
Charlotte is also a great driver, something you cannot take for granted given the challenging narrow roads of Wales.
