Highly recommend - safe, no frills, great lesson

点评：Incredible lesson. I lived in Hawaii and none of my visitors ever had an experience this personalized and intensive.
I reached out via their website and someone contacted me right away. We ended up communicating over What’s app which was perfect. She gave me the address. We took an Uber. It was easy.
We arrived early and they welcomed us. They had a full run of sizes and found a super small wetsuit for my small 10 year old daughter. The shop itself is minimal and functional. Don’t look for the shop to be the experience. You’re here for a surf lesson. There isn’t really a changing area. There is a rustic bathroom that does the job, if needed, but I would come in your swim suit and get dressed in the shop or on the street like the instructors did.
I paid via Venmo before we went out. They also took Zelle. After she was dressed we walked the block to the beach. They set up an umbrella and chair for me and gave us both water and a granola bar.
The woman who taught my daughter worked so hard in the surf and - despite the language gap - taught and encouraged her. The instructor wore fins to help get my daughter get up and watched her like a lifeguard. She showed her how to go over waves that weren’t right (and did the actual work right behind her) and it built such confidence in my daughter. I felt safe and like the instructor was invested in my daughter’s success.
