点评：I wasn’t sure what to expect, having never read the book, but this production completely exceeded my expectations. I attended with someone who had read it, and they were just as captivated—proof that it resonates with everyone.
The acting was phenomenal—every single performer earned that well-deserved standing ovation. The set design was clever and beautifully executed, enhancing the emotional depth of the story without ever distracting from it.
It was a truly moving experience from start to finish.
As for the venue, the Playhouse is a lovely theatre with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The café serves great coffee, though it can get a bit busy—thankfully, the staff were friendly and efficient. One small tip: don’t wear a jumper! Im usually cold and need to keep my coat on in theatres, but this time I was perfectly toasty throughout but I think for some they would find it too hot.
Highly recommend catching this show while you can.
