点评：I've known the woman behind Growler Bay Brewing for decades, long before she became one of Alaska's most talented brewers. Calling her a brewer almost feels too small a title - she is a scientist, an artist, and one of the hardest-working people I have ever known. What makes her beer exceptional isn't just technical precision (though she has that in abundance). It's the deep respect she has for the craft itself: the endless curiosity, the meticulous attention to detail, and the willingness to work harder than anyone else in the room to create something truly outstanding. Every beer reflects her intelligence, creativity, and relentless pursuit of excellence.
But what I admire most is that behind all that brilliance is an extraordinarily generous heart. She pours herself into her work and the people she loves with the same dedication she pours into every batch.
If you find yourself in Valdez, do yourself a favor: run, don’t meander to Growler Bay Brewing, order all you can drink, and experience what happens when talent, discipline, passion, and heart come together in a glass….then, go and sing her praises!
