点评：Wow! Just, wow!
I went to Wrest Park's light trail last year and thought that would be hard to top, but Ashridge hit it out of the park.
The lights were amazing. Even the least impressive-looking display had a lot to offer and that was in part due to the music that played on the way around. There's a pit stop (literally, a fire pit stop) halfway around where you can toast marshmallows and get a hot drink. I had to get a hot chocolate with the works. It was delicious and I would recommend getting one.
I didn't spend much time in the food village but there was a huge selection. Street Food, South African food, Waffles alongside a bar and a brewery on wheels. I'd say there's something for everyone.
The staff and volunteers were very friendly and everything ran smoothly considering it was the first day of operation. I would come again next year should they do it again.
