Disappointing Experience
White House Spa的点评
点评：I booked the White House Spa Escape Package for two as a birthday treat for my mum and me, for a visit on 2nd January 2025. I had to make the reservation by phone after struggling to book online, and while the staff member I spoke to was friendly, I never received the booking confirmation email I was promised. I thought this was odd but trusted that everything was fine.
When I called the spa on 20th December to confirm our booking and clarify the timings, I was reassured that everything was in order, and we looked forward to our visit. However, just the day before our appointment, I received a voicemail informing me that there was no therapist available due to illness, and no replacement could be found.
I called back and was told we could still visit the spa, enjoy the facilities, and have lunch, but we would need to come back another time for the treatments. Unfortunately, as I no longer live in the area, rescheduling wasn’t an option. This was especially disappointing as the 2nd January was a special date for us—it was a birthday gift we’d been looking forward to for over a month.
While I appreciate the full refund and the staff’s attempt to offer alternatives, I can’t help but feel let down by the lack of communication and the short notice. It seems like there may be some staffing issues, as I’ve never encountered this kind of problem at other spas. I’m sharing this feedback in the hope that the spa addresses these concerns, so other guests aren’t left in the same frustrating situation.
