Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron的点评
点评：On Friday 12th September, while travelling to visit friends, my husband and I decided to visit this museum. Initially we followed good road signage but the actual location of the museum was not well indicated, There was no clear signage from Darby Road to the museum itself.
When we entered the car park we saw that major renovations were taking place as buildings were covered with scaffolding. It was difficult to find the entrance to the museum and nowhere did we see signs telling us that there was a charge to park our car in the car park. Perhaps these had been removed during the renovations.
We paid to enter the museum and also bought refreshments in the overpriced cafe. Imagine our surprise some weeks later when we received a parking charge from Park with Ease Ltd. for £60 for non payment of car park fees. Although we have now paid this charge, I consider it very unreasonable to penalise people for the lack of signage. Maybe this another way to raise funds for the museum?
We found the museum interesting but will not be visiting again or recommending it to friends and family until the on site information is improved!
