点评：Finally got round to visiting Raby Castle. There are a number of ticket options and our ticket covered the Castle, Walled Gardens and Deer Park option. There is a large car park, which then involves quite a walk to the main entrance building. We started with visiting the shop and free small exhibition prior to visiting the Walled Garden. Access to this is gained by scanning a QR Code at the gate. Assistance with this if required, is available from the nearby main entrance building. The garden was understandably a little bare in places at the time of the year when we visited, but the size, extent and some of the landscaping is impressive. We then walked onwards to the Castle, where the QR Code was again scanned, this time by a member of staff. The castle is complete and the interior is quite interesting. The main entrance area/hall is very impressive, large enough to accommodate horse drawn carriages. The castle is set in an extensive Deer Park which we did not pursue on this occasion. Overall an enjoyable visit
