Kent & East Sussex Railway的点评
点评：I took my 9yr old daughter on the K&ES railway for a day out .
Arrived at Northiam and was met by two volunteers one of them in uniform I guess was the station master the
in hi-viz orange who operated the level crossing gates who was king enough to take a photo for me of me and my daughter. We took a
Trip to Tenterden which was
Lovely great ride , not cheap but being a volunteer on another railway I understand the costs involved in keeping a railway open.
We had great fish & chips for
Lunch and returned back on the train arriving about 2.45 .
I really enjoyed the day but what let it down was as we got off the train and departed the station, bidding the station Master a thank
You and good bye received what can only be described as a grunt towards us as he walked past off up the platform.
That was very rude towards myself and my daughter and not even a thank
You for coming today it’s you and others like you that allow us to keep open.
The gentleman is old enough to know manners and he let the railway down .
We all get off days but leave it at the gate please !

翻译：我带着9岁的女儿一起去K&ES铁路游玩了一天。我们抵达诺斯亚姆站后，有两位志愿者前来迎接；其中一位穿着制服的应该就是站长，另一位则穿着橙色反光背心，负责操作铁路道口栏杆。他十分热心，还帮我给我和女儿拍了照片。随后我们乘车前往滕特登，沿途景色宜人，乘车体验也很棒。虽然票价不便宜，但由于我也在另一家铁路公司做志愿者，所以很理解维持铁路运营所需的成本。我们午餐吃了很棒的炸鱼薯条，之后乘火车返回，大约2点45分抵达。我真的很享受这一天，但有个小插曲破坏了好心情：当我们下车离开车站，向站长道谢并告别时，他只是从我们身边走过，只发出了一声咕哝作为回应。这对我和女儿来说实在太失礼了。我们可是特意前来光顾的，可他连一句“谢谢”都没有说——正是有您和像您这样的顾客，我们才能继续营业啊。这位先生已经到了懂礼貌的年纪，但他却给铁路部门抹了黑。
